VANDRA MED FELDENKRAIS I FRANKRIKE 10 juli – 16 juli 2013 Följ med till den lilla byn Arconsat i norra centralmassivet och upplev ett genuint Frankrike till fots – och med Feldenkrais. Feldenkraismetoden = medvetenhet genom rörelse = balans och välbefinnande Vi börjar dagen med en lektion, där vi utforskar sambanden mellan tankar, känslor och rörelser. Efter frukosten vid den porlande fontänen är det dags att greppa vandringsstaven. En del av vandringen på dryga milen sker under tystnad. Genom de mjuka rörelserna och den sinnliga närvaron förstärks varseblivningen såväl inåt mot egna jaget som utåt mot omgivningen. På eftermiddagarna finns tid för bad, små utflykter eller bara vila och – för den som orkar – ännu en Feldenkraislektion. Innan middagen samlas vi för stunds reflekterande samtal kring dagens upplevelser. ons, 4 september sön, 8 september | Filicudi | Embodied Life Workshop with Annette Areskoug and Josette Jacques, both authorized Feldenkrais practitioners and ”Embodied Life”practitioners. ”Do your body good, so that your soul wants to live in it.” Teresa von Avila 1515-1582 ”Through awareness we can learn to move with astonishing lightness and freedom at almost any age.” Moshe Feldenkrais In the ”Embodied Life” work we do meditation, Feldenkrais and Guided Inquiry. The central theme is that the practice of learning has an open, kind and curious presence to any phenomenon (thought, feeling or sensation) that arises within one’s experience. Whether doing meditation, movement lessons or other awareness practices, this theme of unconditional openness is the heart of our attitude. Even the most disturbing of thoughts, emotions or painful sensations are greeted with the same inner atmosphere. We learn to say ‘hello’ or simply ‘be’ with anything that comes into our experience. We learn to trust the unfolding of life. This is the basis for true peace. In addition to these practices we enjoy the wonderful surrounding of the island Filicudi, italian food, closeness to nature. There will be free time for walking, swimming in the sea during the day. Please join us for these deep, enjoyable days together! Dates: We start on Wednesday 4/9 and end on Sunday 8/9 lunch. Please come on Tuesday. Travel: By plane to Palermo or Trapani. By boat from Palermo to Filicudi (2,5 hours). Please plan your travel as soon as possible! Location: Filicudi is one of eight islands of Sicily, situated 30-50 km northeast of the island of Sicily. We can live and practice at ”Marcos house” which is situated on a steep hillside with a wonderful view over the sea. To reach the house you have to climb up a small trail which requires quite good fysical condition. People with severe pain-and balance problem may have difficulty to get there. Course and living Fee: € 530 in dubble rooms. All meals included. Please bring your own sheets, towel or sleeping bag. Beatriz: I will come to Sweden again this fall and provide a further step of approximation to the vast theme of last year. When a child starts to master language and develops abilities to draw and write, he /she usually starts playing with hopping, jumping, balancing on one foot, riding a bicycle, and many other combinations which become further preparation for life. It is always amazing how, later in life, some human beings build enormous artistic abilities on that initial exploratory base, whether it be in the circus, in dance or with musical instruments. The potential for this mastery and excellency already shines through in infant development. Vi kommer att hålla till på Bujinkan, Swedenborgsgatan 7, Stockholm.
